Summer is here

Well almost!

The kids are on their last week of school. My parents will be here this weekend to get them for the summer, minus Julie. She will be staying back with us. I cant believe I have neglected my blog for so long again. Time has slipped by. School has kept me busy and so have the kids.

We have now been out here a year. Thankfully time has gone quick and our crazy problem neighbors have moved as well. Its quiet around here thats a good thing.

Jimmy bought a new bike last month, its pretty bad ass. We just got the exhaust put on last week. We also bought the kids a water slide last week, its also pretty bad ass. We have had a blast on it! I can see us spending the summer on it.

Not a lot to write about right now. I need to get on here more when things happen.

Day from hell

Today has been pretty much awful and im so glad its bed time for the kids.

First the kids go to school on the bus in a horrible storm. Who knows why the school waited for them to get to school to cancel it. The roads were ice, wind and snow blowing making visibility very low.

I run this afternoon to take Tanner to the vet on base to find they closed cause of the weather. No phone call, that would have been considerate.

I got him an appointment off base and take him in, $400 later, hes anal glands are fixed, they were severely infected and he is home running around with a lamp shade on his head, running into things and getting stuck lmao.

My son just decided today he didnt give a fuck and acted up. Thank goodness he will be in bed soon.

Jimmy has duty and had to check in early since this base is so fucking awesome. Close the base down right when the storm is passing us and basically done!

We will see him tomorrow, where he will sleep the day away since is 24 no sleep duty @@

You know, cause having no sleep makes you more alert then sleeping. Seriously.

The kids had conferences a week ago, both are doing so well. Taylors reading and math is 6 grade level. Averys math is 4th grade and his reading is finally grade level. With meds for his adhd, he should be able to concentrate more.

Something happened that week, something serious. Averys teacher (who has been a sub since the beginning of school) decided since Avery and another child were poking each other in the neck and doing "pressure" points on each other, that she was going to do one to my son.
She told him to go get his folder, he took his sweet ass time, so she walked up behind him and dug her fucking finger in his neck. When he said owe, she told him thats what you get, now you know how it feels. Kids seen this bitch do it, one laughed at Avery while another told her its not funny.
I called the school as soon as he told me only to be blown off by the principal. When we went to the conferences, this stupid teacher had nothing good to say about Avery. Once the conferences were done, which the vice principal sat in on, i had Avery tell him what happened. Not one thing changed in his story. They brought Ms. Farley down to talk to her, then the vice principal asked if i minded her telling me her side of the story. I said fine. The vice principal had also gone into the class and asked students what happened before the meeting.
Ms Farley told me Avery sat on the ground at his desk and she firmly put her hand on his shoulder where he over exaggerated an owe. She says she didnt hurt him and if she was a little rough she was sorry. She told me she has been a teacher 30 years and never had something like this happen, she would never hurt a child. I told her she had no right putting her hands on him. She left and the vice principal confirmed Averys story, the other students said exactly what Avery had said. i was LIVID. We left for the day, and the principal called me to apologize and told me Ms Farley is gone, they are hiring another teacher for his class, Until they got the new teacher, she has until the 22 to hire one, they would check on Avery 3 times a day to make sure he was ok. I said absolutely not. He is to be no where near Ms Farley. The changed Averys class, until they get a new teacher, then he will go back in with his friends. I let her know that i was going to the police station to file a report, and the principal told me they already contacted child services on Ms Farley. That bitch will never work with kids again. This new class he is in, is going so well. He loves Ms Lambert!

Tomorrow is going to be better, i know it! I have to work on my homework thats due tomorrow, fun times, let me tell ya!

The end of a long week

This past week was just long, not sure why.
Julie drew her first person the other day, it was her she said. I cant believe how fast these kids grow.
Julie had her 3 year check up last week. She is 32 lbs and 38 inches. She has finally caught up weight wise and devlopmentally. Im so happy!

Not a whole lot to really write about since its been so quiet here. We have 2 friends coming down for the next 6 weeks or so. Is a Marine who Jimmy worked with in San Diego, he was also our room mate, the other is our friend from Okinawa, another Marine that worked with Jimmy. 2 of our kids are the same age, the oldest and youngest. They are both coming out here to the school house where Jimmy teaches food service at. Im hoping we can meet up with each of them, even though its not allowed since they are going through the course.
Yesterday we went out to Petersburg Battlefield to walk Tanner and take flat Anthony for a tour. We didnt go to far on the trails, that place is huge!
We rearranged the desk room, bought a new tv and stand, this way Jimmy can play his xbox and not take up the main tv which forced me upstairs. I think it worked out really well. Pictures will follow another day.

who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

I have no clue, but i do know Tanner keeps trying to sneak his butt in the kitchen to get into the cookies i already hid from him. I was craving something chocolaty and rich, but quick to make. I hoped on my trusted recipe site and looked at tons of recipes. Then there it was, the cookie i had been craving!
Double Chocolate chip cookies, and these arent your average cookie. I had made some by Mrs. Fields that were not as good as these. Fat, rich and super soft, not to mention chocolaty!!! I had 2 and that was more then enough.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup butter- softened
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups white chocolate chips

preheat oven at 350, grease cookie sheets
Cream butter and sugars, add eggs. Mix in cocoa powder, baking soda and flour. Stir in White chips.
drop by tablespoon on cookie sheet and bake for 10 min, cool for 2

We got Julie a game for the Wii today, Kai Lan. Its so cute, and she looks so cute playing it. There are only a couple of games she can play on it right now, but its better then the 1 we usually have her play.

I finally pulled my carrots up in my garden. Im so surprised they lived through are snow and cold spell. I have yet to eat them, im saving them for our roast this week.

is it really 2010?

Wow, i can't believe its been a year since i have posted. I shall get better at this, maybe a daily post, who knows.

We adopted a dog today from PetMart. As soon as we seen him we knew, he was the one for our family. Tanner is a lab/basset hound mix. He has the ears and legs of a basset hound and the face of a lab. He is adorable! Tanner is fully house broken, awesome with the kids, he does not jump, is really calm and doesnt give a crap about our cat Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell on the other hand is trying to get use to this creature in her house. She will hiss at him and creap by him in stealth mode when he is sleeping. I think they are going to be best buds in a month!
Julie also had her 3rd birthday this week. I can't believe she is 3, although she thinks she is grown.
On her birthday we had a pizza playdate, which she had a blast at. That night we went to Sam's Club to get a yummy hot dog, or as Julie corrected me "hock gog" and i picked up a cake.
She recieved a few things which she totally adores. Our friend Jessica got her a Princess "fishing" flowers game, and a tinkerbell coloring book. My mom got her a baby cradle, which she carried the box around until Jimmy put it togther, We got her a Yo Gabba Gabba juke box and a hard plastic stroller ( which is on its way).

Chole our othe cat stayed back at my moms house. We went there for Christmas and she fell in love with her. Chole is now totally spoiled and back to her old self. I dont think she liked sharing the house with Tinkerbell, she was always wanting outside. Now she is the Queen of her castle and has a fire stove to rest in front of!

Yesterday we took Julie to the Playroom here to "meet Elmo". She didnt want anything to do with that red dude. Julie would creep around him or wait until he looked away and run past him, lmao.

Long time no update... That seems to be my trend lately. Life has taken over and I'm just down right busy.
I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and things went well i suppose. i had my follow up this past week and my biopsy results aren't in yet. Surprise surprise. I also found out a little more of what was done to me on my surgery as i guess i was confused. I had biopsy's done on numerous sites, a d&c done and she looked around my lower half with the camera. I thought she was going to blow my stomach up and go in htere and solve the mystery of my pain, but nope. I must have missed that part of the conversation or she just said it in her head thinking she told me. We did the non invasive thing first which was the awful menopause shot. Which did not stop my periods or pain, just gave me wonderful hot flashes and heavy bleeding after surgery @@.
Now we are going in for the least invasive thing, which will be going in, blowing up my stomach, running in a camera and burning what ever scar tissue is around my pain site. This will be done March 11. This better do the trick cause we will be moving 2 months later and i will have to start all my visits over and such with a new dr..... Very frustrating. She told me the next step after this will be a hysterectomy which i refuse. I just want that one ovary out. If that doesn't solve the problem then i will go from there. I have a whole year to dwell on this since that's going to be my "recovery and see" period from this next surgery @@ im praying by the time i go in for my preop, my results will be back. The reason they are taking so long is they had to be sent out somewhere else for further testing, its dajavu all over. Same thing happened 2 years ago, taking forever and still not coming back good to go.

Now on to brighter things..... We have just over 3 months on this island. I am starting to get really sad. I have 2 wonderful friends out here and i dont want to leave them. I swear, every time i meet normal people, we move. Im so worried about moving to an Army base, cause well.... Most and i do say most Army and Air Force wifes wont even give me the time of day. Its frustrating, i know what some of you are saying.. .well screw them, but when that's what you are surrounded by, its kind of hard lmao. I will be proudly flying my USMC flag =0). Gotta represent!
Ok, i got off track..... Im really going to miss this island, most of the Japanese people. I love the parks out here, just look at my pics i have, either on myspace or when i post them and you will see, they are awesome!
I love just driving out here, you see the ocean everywhere. Beautiful flowers and green trees all year long. The old buildings and slow life of Okinawa.

Now on to Avery........ I hate the school out here, the have done nothing to help him, as iv said before. He needs help, maybe some encouragement instead of just being sent away. Jimmy had to pick him up from school last week for pushing a student and jumping over furniture @@. Im getting on my soap box... be prepared...
Did the teacher or principal even ask Avery why he pushed the student BEFORE they sent him home for the day? NO. I had to sit in with Avery the next morning with the principal so he could talk to Avery. He asks him, why did you hit the girl? Avery says.. it was a boy. The principal asks him, why were you throwing furniture... At this point, id had enough. The stupid principal didnt even know what the fuck Avery had done, yet was sitting there, as the authority, someone the kids fear, and put words into Avery's mouth. He will not correct the principal, he just sat there, so i jump in. " He didn't throw furniture, he jumped over it". His response to me was " throw, jump, throw, jump, same thing. I told him, Avery also pushed the student, not hit. he yelled at me, " MA'AM, i wasnt here yesterday, i havent had a chance to read the report. And that's my problem how? Why the fuck did you want to see Avery then, if you weren't even going to read about what happened? Thank goodness i was in the office with Avery. What a fucking looser. I reminded him, you know Avery is ODD. Yes, you have made that very clear. Ok here is what is funny. They know he needs help, do they help him? The principal tells me, we are going to have a meeting with you, your husband, the counselor, myself and his teacher. i had to remind him before i walked out with my son, You know, i have been begging this school for help for 3 years and have gotten none. He tells me, well i have to look in his file to see what happened, then i reminded him of the fact that last year i came directly to him asking for help and got none, that seem to piss him off lmao. Im so glad we will have the meeting and will be getting Avery off this island soon so he can get into a school that can help him, not keep him down. My son is so damn smart, i just got his report card and his math is 3rd grade and reading is above where it should be, its just his ODD that keeps him back and the school not offering him the resources to help him. I cant wait for the meeting, its been 3 long years and im done!

My sweet Juli has turned 2. I cant believe it. Her check up was good, she is like 24 lbs and i cant remember the height. We had to send in a paper to get her evaluated for her speech since she isnt speaking 2 word sentences @@. What ever. she was a preemie and needs a few more months to catch up like she has needed every other time. I sent in the paper, but we have noticed Julis speaking so much its funny. Oh well. She has been pooping on the potty at night, at her request. Time flys by so quick!
Taylor is doing awesome in school, not much to report she is still top of her class, if she could just control her attitude we would be all set lmao

Im really excited for some new stuff im going to be adding into my store. Im waiting on the molds to get there as well as the matching fragrances. I cant wait to play. Hopefully in the next week or 2 i will have pics up!!!!

My hubby will be going on an all expense paid trip to Hawaii for 2 weeks in Feb and im so damn jealous! Hahaha, He is going for work, but damn, i have to be stuck back here with 3 kids. wtf??? I want to go.
Im thinking of something cool to do for our anniversary this year too. I want to go on a cruise to the tropics or something like that. Its not until the end of the year but im brainstorming now! Well i need to hope in the shower and get on with our journey today!

Surgery date is set!

Had my Pre op appt today and i found out a few things out. My surgery will be on Jan 12th and she will not take my ovary out. First she wants to try to menopause me for 3 months to see if in deed its totally my ovary causing pain with ovulation. After the 3 month time frame, we will go from there and re evaluate whats going on. Im going to get a shot sometime next week to start the menopause. Im worried about that and im glad its temporary. I was suppose to have it done today but after my long appointment and another long appointment with the apu place ( where i report for surgery) i forgot. Having 3 crazy kids can do that. Well the older ones were awesome, Juli on the other hand, she needs a cage lmao.
My pap came back abnormal which blew me away and sent me into tears. How much more could go wrong? Ive never had a bad pap. So now she will also be taking a biopsy of my cervix. Im so scared but so ready to just get it over with so i can get the results back. She will also be running a camera in my stomach to see what she can possibly find that may be causing my pain. If she sees something, then in March i will go back under.
Im holding it together i think pretty well. I wish my mom was here to help us!

My daycare is fully done, minus some art supplies that i need to get. Dont mind the clothes stacked by my art center. They are for Jess, i need to mail them and im slacking big time. Here are some pics of it and from Christmas. I cant arrange the pics for some reason so they showed up all on top!
