no title

I don't have a clue what to name this blog, so its nameless!
My baby girl started eating with her fork this morning, not using it to knock food on the floor either. She was actually stabbing food!

A had his Baseball meeting tonight and got to meet his coach. T will hopefully be on another team tomorrow. They were on the same team, but i called to get them switched. There is too much competition at home, and to add practice and games, they were just asking for trouble.

I played with one of my molds tonight, the angel mold.

They turned out really cute. I cant wait to get more molds. Im addicted. I hope i can sell these things. lmao. I started making tarts for myself since it was cheaper then me buying them all the time and selling them was a friend's idea since she loved the way my house smelled every time she came over! T, you gave me inspiration!!!! Anyhow, aren't they cute???

Well that's all the exciting news today. I need to head to bed. I got to get these kids to swim on time tomorrow. Its so pathetic. We live 2 blocks away and i just cant make it there. I'm so screwed when school starts, they are in the same area, our base, 1 min away lmao. Hey its the summer right??? hahaha night!

New bed stuff

Today the slow boat package finally made it. It was mailed while we were home on vacation. 2 months later and its here!!! T's new bedroom decor! It was for her b-day. a tad late lmao. I spent the last hr or so undoing these awful rods that housing had about the windows and screwing in her new curtain rods. Isnt it cute? I think so! T picked it out!

I made a ton more tarts today! A few fallish scents. Talking to Sherri, she had mentioned Amish Quilt. I forgot i even had the scent, so i broke it out and make tarts, then i found some yummy sugar cookie oil too. I had to make some of that. In a few min im going to make some smelly jelly stuff out of the Sugar cookie too.

While at the exchange today searching for jelly jars, i ask one of the workers, a Japanese worker, if they had any in stock. I must have been speaking a foreign language to her, cause she had to get back up, a fellow Japanese lady. So i ask the "new" lady if she new where i might find the jars. " for the baby?" I'm asked. Um no! I say, you know, to make jelly, you can stuff in them. I get the most dumb founded look. As I'm standing there i ask, is there anyone you can get that can understand what I'm asking? She goes and gets the manager, Thank goodness the woman is American lmao. She knows exactly what I'm talking about. They are out. oh well. So she took my name and number and will call when they come in. Simple enough. Then i head to the electronics dept to find some type of antenna for my radio. The wire one i have is just not long enough and we pick up static. I look around and of course no one is working there today, so i push the help button, 2 people appear out of no where, one looks at me, but keeps on going and the other walks over to the button and shuts it off so it stops announcing someone needs help. I let him know that i need the help and he says "ok" and walks away. HAHAHA i wait another 20 min and he returns to make a phone call, gets off looks at me and asks if i have a quick question. WTH? What if i had a long question? lol I ask what i need to and he doesn't help. He gets another person to help me, who proceeds to tell me i need a wire antenna, DUH! I know that, that's why I'm there, i was asking where i might find one. SO he takes me to the radios to show me what they look like. OMG now I'm just getting irritated. Are you serious? I know what i need, mine is too short, what can i use to make it longer, or in its place. So he just pulls the one off their radio and gives it to me. Lmao. Why do they hire so many Japanese nationals to help us when they cant understand us??????? Anyhow, i took my free antenna and got the hell out of there.

I haven't even bothered to try it. I'm afraid to see if it will work or not lol.

Miss J pants is passed out! I really think she is missing her daddy. She sees his car sitting out front and says "daddy". squats at the window and waits, but he doesn't come =(. This is just the beginning. I'm so sad to see what its going to be like in a few months when he doesn't come back.

I picked up the cutest book today too, Its called My Hero, Its letters Military kids have written about their moms and dads. I started reading it, and i have already cried. I know, I'm sappy! This little boy wrote about his dad, he was killed in action. I originally picked up the book because it had a Marine on the front. I know, silly. But i collect EVERYTHING Marine Corps! Its so neat though, kids are so honest!

I need to get working on my smelly jelly. Gotta get this concoction right!

Sunday Sunny Sunday

Well, not very sunny today, but a pretty awesome day. I have to say. I have gotten everything accomplished this weekend. Laundry is washed and put away, the house is clean and Miss J is sleeping. I'm still up to write this, now that's good! We didn't do much today, hung out.

J called us this afternoon. He talked about Australia and how there are kangaroo everywhere. They are the rodents there. And the Aborigines, They are the Australians that live off the land. lmao, he says they cant drive at night, cause the aborigines sleep on the road, and they have been getting hit by cars @@, Whos fault is that???? I thought that was kinda funny. A red bull costs $4 there too. Im hoping to hear more from him soon.

My sweet little girl is passed out. Something she has been doing lately, well since we have been back from the states, when she goes to sleep, she has to have her Elmo and Build a Bear. Its kinda cute!

Im about to head off to read. Nothing major going on here. I have proof my 2 cats may eventually get along, that is, if C, the stripe cat, will learn to back off. See, she must forget that T has claws lol, and that last night she got wacked in the head. Silly girl, one day she will learn.

A day on our own!

I didn't get around to doing this last night, some reason i was tired.
We dropped J off at the airport in the morning, and headed back to base to drop the van off. I swore this would be a better day, after all, we had nothing but time. After dropping the van off, we caught the green line home, well almost. As it turns out, i don't read bus schedules really well, cause the green line only goes to our base in the morning and afternoon. We just missed the bus 20 prior. We ride around one of the other bases and the driver asks me, where you go? Garage? What is up with them and the word garage?? No i say, to McT, our base. "No schedule", he tells me. Huh? So we get off and look at the schedule, yup it wont come for 4 more hrs. We start walking and got a honcho, taxi. $8 and 3 miles later, we are home. This whole trip what takes me 10 min in the car, took 2hrs lmao. I walk in the door and the shop is calling to tell me, my van is done. I laugh. I just got home and the bus doesn't go til 4. Ill be there later i tell him, hahaha

We made it to the bus, it was great!

There was ac and a radio. They are really nice inside. Miss J loved it! No she wasn't in a car seat, she sat on my lap!

We made it in 15 min to get the van, then off to home we go! My friend comes over and we start talking about this restaurant out in town, Dragons! We LOVE DRAGONS! As it turns out, my wonderful crock pot dinner was nasty so off to Dragons we all go. It was great!! Yes my kids look homeless, they are in outside clothes hahaha

Our friend J and Miss J's bff, L.

Later we came home and went for a long walk. Wore out the kids and i got some time to myself to read! I love making time for myself and i need to do it more often when J is home! Today is going to be a great day!!! Ill make sure i post tonight!!!

2x's a charm

This day started off OK, even though we were running out the door to swim. We got there when the song had just finished. Oh well. Our 3 day in a row of timeliness is done! We were late lol.

Today we needed to get our van's JCI done. Its done every 2 years here. Basically another reason for the Japanese Government to rape us Americans for more money. Off to Foster (base) we go.

Here is my sweet little girl in her seat.

We get to the insurance place to buy the insurance for the JCI, yes, we have to have 2 insurances here. Even though they consider us professional drivers, we pay double, and if a Japanese national hits us, yup, you guessed it, we still have to pay a portion even though it was their fault, cause being a professional driver, we are suppose to see the accident before it happens and prevent it. Ever see a flying car???? Me either. So until our cars can fly out of the way of an idiot non driver, we will continue to pay. Vent over...

So i stand in line for 30 min with 3 kids. Not bad, they were actually doing well. Get all the info out to the lady for the insurance, now its time to pay. They only take cash, yen or checks. I haven't written a check in years. WTF happened to debit cards??? Now i have to leave, find an ATM, pull 3 kid out of the car to get yen and go stand back in line. If you think i stood there waiting for my turn again, your crazy and don't know me well. I walked right up to the insurance lady so she could finish my stuff.

I have my insurance now i have to go pay my weight tax, for the JCI. i get there, wait again. This time the kids are ready to be free and showing their ass. I get ready to pay to realize I'm short on yen. By $5. Now I'm pissed. back in the car, to the ATM to pull out $50 worth of yen for $5 freakin dollars worth of yen. See, we can only pull out 5000 as the lowest amount. That's about $50 us dollars. Back to the damn place to pay. Now everything is gravy. All i have to do is pay for the inspection, and get the inspection done. Easier said then done. The wont do it with kids in the car. The driver only. WTF????? where am i suppose to leave my kids? Well the Japanese dude says the garage. HUH? you know where they watch kids. Umm no, That's called a daycare freak! SO off home i go, hoping my friend is home so i could leave the kids. Mean while, each way on the toll is costing $3, and 30 min of my time. Here is the dude at the toll. I don't think he wanted his pic taken. Oh well, too bad lol

Drop the kids off and go back down for the inspection. Did i pass? NOPE! My tire boots in the front are cracked then the ass tells me my seat belt light needs to be replaced. Umm, stick your head in my car, the light works just fine." so sorry, i didn't see". Yeah, no shit. I head to the garage to get the stuff fixed, $100 for everything, it will be done in 4-5 hrs. I laugh and leave. Actually at this point I'm in tears. I'm fed up and this shit has to be done by next week. With dh leaving tomorrow, i have the wonderful job of doing it alone. So i head home, get the kids and head to my local shop. If its going to take 5 hrs, id rather be close to home and take the green line bus home. The green line is a free nice bus the Marine Corps pays, to go from camp to camp as transportation for the single Marines. I check out at the shop. The $100 job is going to cost $45 for everything and take about 10 min. They will do it tomorrow when i get back from the airport. What a relief! I'm so glad i checked around first. The rest of the night has been chill. If you made it this far, I'm sorry lmao. This was a day from hell. I'm off to chill with the hubby. We have to get up early to take him to the airport. Lucky, he gets an all expense paid trip to Australia. I know its not for fun but still, its Australia and kid free lmao. Here is my stupid pic for the day. This is the crap they graffiti. Make sense? lmao, they don't bomb anything here.

long day!

This morning started off as usual, with us rushing out the door trying to make it to swim lessons on time. So far, 2 days in a row! Go us!
A is stuck in level 3 and trying to just get passed. Right now we are working on his back crawl.

More practice is needed, but hey, that's what the swim teacher is for. We aren't paying $25 a week for 25 mins of fun.

T is now in level 5. Her swimming is awesome. Now if we can just work on that smile.

Not sure whats up with that lol. One day we will get it normal. At least she can swim! I have no clue what all they were working on today, since miss J is determined to get into the big pool weather you say no or not!

Off to the baby pool we go!

This little girl loves to swim.

On my walk home from the pool, i realized how fast these kids can go down the hill on their bikes. The speed radar says 30 miles per hr. I don't know if i should be happy for the boy or worried that there will be many ER visits in his future. Not sure if its right but there were no cars to pick up speed from lmao

I got about an hr of quiet today when J layed down for nap. I was able to scrub these wonderful government tiles. They are now clean again. I really wish the Government would spend a few dollars and get something that didn't look so, oh how should i put this........ Government. Something you see in an old ass building and is falling apart!

I'm off to bed, its been such a long day. My patience is gone and i need a recharge. One last cute pic for the day.
Her fascination with shoes. Not sure if she gets it from me or her dad, but this was just too damn cute. She actually walked a step or 2 in them before falling over!!!

New kitty

Yes that's right, We adopted a new cat!
Isn't she beautiful?

We think so. Watching her for a few days turned in to us falling in love and offering to keep her, so our friends could PCS with one less worry.
Her name is Tinkerbell and she has the most amazing blue eyes

Her family came by this afternoon to say good bye, to us and her.

Its so blasted hot here today, and the kids are tired just plain board. I took miss J outside for some fresh air and a chance to get some energy out. What happened to my sweet toddler who loved to stay near me? Now i have this big girl, who is determined to get away and just be big.

Needless to say, after chasing her down for the 100th time, it was time to just come in. Some days i wish we had a fenced yard where she could just run.

The kids have 34 days until school starts back up again. I know they are excited. Days at home are just boring compared to the days of school, that and once school starts, the days will fly by and we will be closer to coming back to the states! Even they say its to hot to play outside, now that's saying its hot! These kids normally don't care about the weather. I'm not sure they will ever get sick of watching Sponge bob, but that is the movie of choice when they get to stay inside! Its so quiet, i can gather my thoughts!!!!

I have no more useless info to post so i guess i will close this!
