Surgery date is set!

Had my Pre op appt today and i found out a few things out. My surgery will be on Jan 12th and she will not take my ovary out. First she wants to try to menopause me for 3 months to see if in deed its totally my ovary causing pain with ovulation. After the 3 month time frame, we will go from there and re evaluate whats going on. Im going to get a shot sometime next week to start the menopause. Im worried about that and im glad its temporary. I was suppose to have it done today but after my long appointment and another long appointment with the apu place ( where i report for surgery) i forgot. Having 3 crazy kids can do that. Well the older ones were awesome, Juli on the other hand, she needs a cage lmao.
My pap came back abnormal which blew me away and sent me into tears. How much more could go wrong? Ive never had a bad pap. So now she will also be taking a biopsy of my cervix. Im so scared but so ready to just get it over with so i can get the results back. She will also be running a camera in my stomach to see what she can possibly find that may be causing my pain. If she sees something, then in March i will go back under.
Im holding it together i think pretty well. I wish my mom was here to help us!

My daycare is fully done, minus some art supplies that i need to get. Dont mind the clothes stacked by my art center. They are for Jess, i need to mail them and im slacking big time. Here are some pics of it and from Christmas. I cant arrange the pics for some reason so they showed up all on top!

Wow, where the heck have i been? Engulfed in a lot of stuff, that’s where.
We had a nice Christmas and the kids made out. I made our dinner which was wonderful as always, and hubby cleaned up while i put the Christmas stuff away. How awesome is that?

There has been a lot going on here, hence why i haven’t updated in a month and been MIA.
I went for my ultrasound on my stomach last week and I’m pretty sure i know what the pain is, my right ovary.
On Tue i go back to the Dr for my pre- op and im sure i will learn more. I will be happy when all this is done and the stress & pain is gone. My blood pressure is up, no surprise since there is so much going on around here, but its not good for my kidneys, I’m not sure if this is my disease progressing or just stress. I will find out more when we move and i can finally follow up with a nephrologist! It’s been 4 years since I have been and I’m due. My health right now is such a concern to me. Not knowing what is going on is the worst and it has brought me really down. My kidney disease is not curable, its called polycystic kidney disease. I was diagnosed when I was 19. Its not too worrisome for me, since I know what to expect, it’s the unexpected with the precancerous cells in the past and future biopsies that have me on edge.

Avery is dealing with so much right now; his ODD is just kicking his butt. We went from just fits, to now small amounts of aggression. This has started from around the time when we learned his dad would be deploying, now home, getting the shit chocked out of him by some kid 3x'x his size and now he is dealing with the fact of our up coming move. For a child, this is a lot to deal with, especially in a short amount of time, but normal for a military kid. The school, who is suppose to be there and understand the military child, and help might i add, is trying to just get rid of him. Avery has some aggression issues that are not severe. He will throw a chair when he is overly stresses, cant get his words out or feels no one is listening to him. Since the older kid choked him a few weeks back, he is now cornering kids and basically putting his hands on other students. This of course is unacceptable, but looking at it from the eyes of Avery, i wonder, why is he doing it. Has he tried to use his words and no one is listening, keeps getting picked on and finally just snaps? Maybe its just that he is labeled a troubled kid and when something goes wrong, he is the first one they call out instead of figuring out what really happened. Right now Avery is on the verge of expulsion. I have tried since he was in Kgarden to get help, I get none, The first year, their psychiatrist would stick him in a sound proof box for 10 -15 min as "punishment". As a parent, i was pissed, But since he knew what he was doing, i trusted him. Avery got worse that year. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. 1st grade he had a teacher who totally gave up on him. What teacher in their right mind doesn’t communicate with a parent to let them know their child is struggling in reading and not at grade level, yet passes them and says nothing to the school? Luckily the reading group caught his level and is now giving him help since his teacher last year refused to get him help. She expected perfect non talking students. She was monotone and bland. How sad. Over the summer, i gave up on the school and went on my own to get Avery help. It was sorta working, but getting an appointment with the child psychologist on island is impossible. There are 2 for the whole island! Hubby was called in to the school and basically told they want to expel Avery. We haven’t been told ever, that he has yet this year been in the vice principals office. WTF? How about some communication. Get this, to get a hold of my husband (since he just changed units) They call a central office, to get his work number, in the process they tell them our personal business. So my husband has some low rank joe shmoe telling him " hey gunny, call your sons school, they are having behavior issues with him. Needles to say my husband was pisssed. Everybody knows us here. My husband made a good name for his self here. I can walk in to the medical clinic and they hear Our last name and ask me if I’m Gunny's wife lmao. My husband told the vice principal off and let him know about the privacy act info he just put out there to someone who doesn’t need to know! Back to Avery. I’m not sure what is going to happen yet. The holidays have happened and they are on break. If he is expelled from school. I’m not sure what we will do. They are only allowed to go to certain schools out here based on what base we live on. The next closes base and school is 30 min away. That will be just crazy to do with him just because the school won’t help him. They are suppose to be more sensitive to the emotions these military kids go through and be there to help and offer support. This school must have missed this memo.

On a better note, we got our orders. We fly in May. In March we will get our exact date and things im sure will move a lot faster then. We are going to Ft Lee Va. While im excited to move, my heart is still a small bit broken. I was still hoping we would get the chance to go back to California. Hubby says he will put in for it our next station, but then he also talks about coming back over here. Im really torn.

I went on a walk this morning with Juli, we walked the big hill bertha. I was just taking in the sites of Okinawa. I’m going to miss the calmness of this place. I saw 4 kids out on the road, one was pushing a 2 yr old or so In a stroller and another child, maybe 5 was walking with another baby, who looked to be around 2. No adult around. There is no fear here of abduction or speeding cars ect. We can walk through a store and the kids can go into a different isle or wandering a mall and the kids trail behind us, we know they are safe.

Since all the Christmas stuff is down, I was able to fully set up my daycare. I will get pics up on another day. Im really excited to get opened and begin doing what I love.

I have a few friends that have been there for me who i love dearly and ther support means the world to me. Thank you for all the prayers!

My little girl is such a joy. Today she was singing her little heart out. Right before bed, she was reading a book. I cant believe how fast this time has gone. I look at my older 2 and realize they are growing so fast. When we came on this island, Taylor was just starting K and Avery was 3. Now i have a 7 & 8 yr old, In 2nd and 3rd grade. I cherish every moment i get with them.

I had my colposcopy on Thursday, while i was so nervous, i got a lot of past questions answered, like what the heck my " disorder" so to speak was called, when it was found in 2001. I had displasia. My Dr told me it looks like my body has fully healed its self since my last 2 biopsy's have come back ok. I still have to go in for yearly paps just cause of my history, even though i have never had a bad pap. She explained the colposcopy to me. i let her know about my wonderful period which has been coming twice a month, and the pain i still have on my right side. The periods are not normal she told me, so we decided to do a a biopsy on my uterus as well as get an ultrasound on my right side to make sure there is nothing going on.
During the Colpo, which burns btw, she did it everywhere that i had my surgery previously to make sure there were no more bad cells. She found some white spots. As she was telling me, i had tears rolling down my face.
I was hoping all this was done with years ago, but for now we have to wait and see. I will be put under to have the biopsy's done as well as the biopsy on my uterus. Depending on what my ultrasound comes back as, will determine if she is fixing something in my stomach or going in with a camera for a closer look. I'm really down about this, words cant even describe. Im praying everything comes back ok, cause i don't know how much more i can take right now. I go the end of DEC for my ultrasound and a week after that for my pre op appointment. Surgery will be sometime in Jan.

We had such a blast at the ball. The guest speaker was awesome and had all the Marines stand up and sing the Marine Corps Hymn! It was great.
I had a whole afternoon of pampering done and felt beautiful. I picked up some new make up from Clinique while i was down at the big exchange. I was trying to find Juli some P.J'S, but of course they have nothing, so i bought myself something! My mom wil have to send us some yet again this winter.
The ball was done up beautifully. We sat at the table with all Jimmy's Marines. They all worked for him before his work up to Afghanistan.
Here are the pics from the ball!!

Well tomorrow is the big day and im so excited!!! I was going through all our pictures from the past month and realized i have left a lot of stuff out. Jimmy and I got to go on a date last month and it was awesome. Its been a long time since we have had alone time, besides the ball every year, but that doesnt count. We went shopping and drove around everywhere looking for a place to eat that didnt have a line going out the door. It was pay day weekend so it was hard. Everyone is trying to be the first one to blow all their pay day money first. We finally found a little Italian place on base, that we had been to before. It was nice...... and quiet!
Here we are with our only "date" pic lol
We stopped off at the store on the way and i picked up a new drink, and my fav snack! Its almost like a Concha, and i sure do miss those. The Pepsi was different but good, i soon got addicted to them. It has a sweet taste and an after taste sorta like a dreamsicle, weird!

While driving to the base, we were following this idiot, and the sticker on their car was picture worthy.
It says maternity in car. They have a caution sticker yet pulled over to do a drug deal. LMAO It was funny staring at them while they were trying to be "normally talking". hahaha

I caught a cute pic of Jimmy, Juli and Chole, passed out!

I killed one of the biggest spiders lately too. I had to take a pic of it before i killed the sucker. I cant even imagine running into this thing in the house!
The weird thing is, i checked back on it an hr later, and it was gone! OMG, gives me the chills thinking about it. Avery found a weird bug when he came home from school, Chloe helped him stalk it, until she pulled its legs off.

She is a inside cat now, We battled fleas for a few weeks before we just kept her in. The fleas are everywhere out here, when you walk in the grass, they jump all over you. YUCK!
As soon as we brought her in for good, the fleas stopped

And last but not least, from today! My crappy ass neighbors are at it again, leaving their trash out. The let the animals get into it and still leave it out for the world to see. This will stop if i have to go higher then our housing manager. Its just down right gross and they are nasty and lazy

The housing manager supposedly was to call them today. This is unacceptable!
Well its off to bed for me.......

Wow. Its been forever since i have updated!
We have been enjoying having Jimmy home! Things have been pretty mellow... Lets see. Jimmy went to the Dr recently and we are holding off on surgery as of right now and are going to try something else on his back first. He will be getting a series of 3 epidural steroid injections in his back and physical therapy to help strengthen this back. Hopefully this will work and we can avoid surgery. His first one will be in 2 weeks. I will be there =/

I had found these awesome hand done name signs for the kids 2 years ago, then the guy who made them, disappeared! I was really bummed. It was the one thing i wanted to bring back from here for the kids. We are not into the Asian theme stuff besides the occasional doll ect so this is something i NEEDED. We'll he came back!!!! For 2 weeks he was on base, so we got each of the kids their names in the Japanese characters. Arent they awesome???

Halloween was great. We had our local friends Tamaki and Eriko come on so Eriko's son could trick or treat. It was fun, but there were a lot of locals on base. Our base was opened up to the locals this year for the full 2 hrs. We bi passed most of them and were able to do pretty well. The kids looked so cute in their costumes. As soon as i put Juli in hers, she ran around like the was buzzing lmaoI have been working on something for my store for a while now and finally came across a container for it! So we spent a day hitting every one of its kind we could find so i could get the shakers i needed! Im so thrilled.
The kids had their school conferences today and they are both doing so well, its amazing. Taylor is reading in a 5th grade level and Avey's Math is in 3 rd grade. Im so proud of both of them!

Its finally cooling off here and i love it! Today its rainy and chilly!!! Of course our van driver window died on us on Sunday in the down position @@, but luckily we were able to have a crappy mechanic put it up for us. The reason i say crappy is, she took out the bad motor and rigged the window up with wood. So when i shut the door last night, the window fell @@ Luckily we have wind guards and the window only fell a small amount and the wind guards cover it. Its still a pain in the ass every time we have to get out ID checked. We are the idiots that have to open our door @@. Im waiting on an estimate as i type to see how much we will be getting raped! If its too much, it will just stay broke! Oh, oh.... The gas door, yeah well, its decided it doesnt want to open on its own either. i swear. I use my ID to pop it open. That will stay broken as well if it costs an arm and a leg to fix. So much for getting a newer car. pos!
The ball is next week. Im sooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my dress so much.
Someone is calling Mom, i better get off here and hide!!

Jimmy is home!!!!! We are all so thrilled. Juli is warming back up to him. I guess in her eyes, he was really gone! We went and picked him up Tues night, he grabbed Juli to give her a hug and she cried and reached for me. It broke my heart. They were really close before he left. At the end of the night she ran into his arms, i know that made him feel better. The older kids of course didnt forget him and had 100 things to tell him.

I went to try and go to the gym this morning, upon dropping Juli off, i noticed what looked like small bug bites on her arm. Well by the time i dropped her off, they were down both arms, legs and 3 big ones on her face. So i took her to the Dr and they told me it looks like chicken pox. They cant rule it out so we need to treat it as such. I feel aweful for her, but this would totally explain her high fevers. We have to close our co op down tomorrow until we can get in there on Sat to bleach it. Luckily its my turn to help, so i dont feel as bad.
Thats about it here in a nut shell. I need to make sure i have everything ready for the fall festival tomorrow. Ive been dipping into my stash =/.

Jimmy wont be coming home tomorrow =(. Im so bummed. It seems someone forgot to book their tickets @@. This training was only planned back in July, Gee you think thats enough time? Guess not. He will be home Monday night, which isnt bad, but Sunday would have been better.

He is also going to look into us getting our extra extension taken off, the extra 3 months we extended so he could go to Afghanistan, since he isnt going, i dont see why it should be a problem. But im not getting my hopes up. Until i have those orders in my hand, i just will keep on with our late date.

The kids and I hung out today. I helped them clean their rooms, MY clean. It went well and now we can walk with out injury to our feet! Juli is something else. I now have all knives put up. Her first fascination was the steak knives, then it was the butter knives, wtf?? She is trying to be so big. She gets diapers and wipes out to "change" her baby, only she wipes the face of her baby lol.

Her nasty thing she does at the kids is she spits. I have no idea where she learned it. I cant wait for the 2's! I dug in my pics and found one of Juli from last year at this time, to compare to now

Cute and clean

My dirty dirty girl lol

Tacky Neighbors

I swear i hate when people don't keep up their yards. I live next to someone who has just let their yard go and it grosses me out. They leave their nasty trash out. Trash came twice this week and they missed it both times! The animals get into it and make a mess, i have to look at it and that is just nasty. Is it that hard to put it in the trash can? Goodness! How about keeping your yard nice? Mowing it so it looks decent and not like we are living in a trashy area. We have another neighbor who is new and lives on the corner, and i swear she is just white trash. Her outside of the house looks like it anyways. I don't judge, but i hate for my court to look like crap. People put trash out to the curb days before trash day and it just looks down right awful. There are rules for a reason and I'm tired of going around telling these grown ass adults to follow them. We are the "block rep". We were appointed @@, Do you think anyone follows the rules? Nope, housing doesn't in force them so who cares! Here is my next door neighbors house, we share a walk way/ porch @@ My house is the edge of the wall with the flowers. Isn't it nice to walk out your door and see that crap? The stupid inspector didn't end up giving them a ticket. He needs to be fired. I need to have his job. Vent over

Tug of War

We got news this week, the final news. Jimmy my husband, is not getting deployed! He re injured his back while training. Last year he had a herniated disc removed in his back, Well now he has 3 compressed vertebrates. He is looking at getting a lovely metal rod put in his back. He has still not quick training and finished it out to the end even though he isnt going!

Ive been really busy again this past week. I made up 2 baskets. One for our friend who retired this past Monday and the other for a donation to the kids school for their Fall Festival.

I think they are pretty cute.

We went to the Tug of War today down in Naha. It was a blast!!! Juli ended up being and getting sick which sucked but she hung in there, littlerly, in my mei tai lol. Both of the bigger kids did the tug of war. We went down with our Japanese friends from here and another family we are friends with. Taylor got dressed in a kimono. And i think she looked cute!

Our friend Tamaki was in the picture with her. Here are some more pics.

One guy balanced these huge poles. For every so long it stayed in the air and didnt fall, they set off fire crackers.

This was 1/2 the rope, long as crap!

Juli was pissed but the guy wanted to take a pic with her lmao

We got to cut the rope too, look how much we came home with! Its for good luck they say!!
